Cougar Mountain has three 7-passenger custom vehicles with forward facing seats for optimum passenger viewing. The central tire inflation system allows air pressure to be adjusted on the fly. With 16 inches of ground clearance and an extremely low center of gravity, we can navigate virtually any terrain imaginable, all without the bone-jarring experience of other off-road vehicles. Cougar Mountain has long been known in the Whistler area for its abundance of wildlife. During the spring and summer months, Black Bears and Cinnamon Bears migrate throughout Cougar Mountain to feed on wild berries, grasses and other vegetation. Although we cannot guarantee bear sightings on every tour, you can vastly increase your chances by booking the recommended tour times during the months outlined below:
May through mid July - 9.00am or 11.30am tours
Mid-July to End of August - 9.00am, or 4.30pm tours
September - October - 2.00pm or 4.30pm tours
