Cougar Mountain
Our history, our mission & our people
Cougar Mountain has been an adventure tour operator in Whistler for over
18 years,
operating under the names of Whistler Backcountry Adventures and Whistler Snowmobile. In 1999, we received a 15 year license to exclusively
operate tours on 15,000 acres of land at Cougar Mountain. We have changed our name to Cougar Mountain at Whistler and have added new
activities to both our Summer and Winter Wilderness Adventures. Our motorized and non-motorized activities are held in separate areas so that
all of our visitors' expectations are met.
Our Mission
To provide our guests with the best possible Canadian backcountry recreation experience in the industry while consistently ensuring high
safety and service standards.

Guides and Staff
Cougar Mountain's friendly, professional guides and staff are experienced in adventure travel. Your safety is important to us, so all
our guides go through an extensive training program and are certified in first aid.
We regularly receive many compliments on our friendly staff who provide exceptional service and can answer
any questions regarding the area. Our team is very loyal and we are proud of their commitment to our company and guests. |
